From the Main Line and Philadelphia
Take the Blue Route (Route 476) South to I-95 South. Exit at Delaware Avenue NORTH (THE FIRST Delaware Avenue exit). Turn right at the second light (10th Street) and proceed two blocks to Franklin Street. Take a right onto Franklin Street and follow for one block. Ursuline Academy’s Administration Building, Gerardine House sits on the corner of N. Franklin and 11th Streets on your left. Parking is available in the street. (40 minutes from Route 30, St. David’s entrance, exit to Route 476).
From New Jersey
Take Route 295 South to exit 13 for the Commodore Barry Bridge. Follow directions over the bridge and stay to the left for Route I 95 South toward Wilmington. Take Exit 7 Delaware Avenue, Route 52. (first Delaware Avenue exit). Go straight at the end of the ramp to 10th Street. Turn right on 10th Street and continue 2 blocks to N. Franklin Street. Turn right on N. Franklin and continue for one block. Gerardine House, the Administration Building, sits on the corner of N. Franklin and 11th Street on your left. Parking is in the street.
Points South
Follow signs for I-95 North to Wilmington. Exit at Delaware Avenue and proceed through first light. At second light (10th Street) turn left. (Entrance to I-95N is in front of you before you turn). Follow 10th Street for 2 blocks to N. Franklin Street. Turn right onto N. Franklin and continue one block. Gerardine House sits on the corner of N. Franklin and 11th Streets on your left. Parking is available in the street.
From West Chester
Take Route 52 (Kennett Pike and/or Pennsylvania Avenue) into the city of Wilmington. Turn right on Broom Street and proceed to next stop sign. (11th Street). Take a left on 11th Street and proceed to stop sign. (N. Franklin Street). Gerardine House, the Administration Building sits on the corner of N. Franklin and 11th Street on your left. Parking is in the street.
NOTE: We have a security system on the door at Gerardine House. Please push the upper doorbell and you will hear the door lock release. Come into the lobby and see the receptionist on your right.
