Ursuline Academy’s nationally recognized Athletics program, which aims to develop well-balanced student-athletes, offers an extensive variety of competitive sports opportunities for you. Throughout the years, teams from our Lower and Middle School Athletic program have won 27 Catholic Youth Ministry (CYM) Championships in a variety of sports. Our program focuses on instilling leadership, teamwork, dedication, and enthusiasm into all athletic endeavors, creating lifelong, positive associations between physical fitness and fellowship.
In the Middle School, you can join our cross country, field hockey, and volleyball teams in the fall; basketball in the winter; and lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, and track and field in the spring. At this level, as a student-athlete you can explore a range of sports from one season to the next to find the right fit for you or advance existing skills in a particular sport on an Ursuline team. As an eighth grader, student-athletes who are extraordinarily skilled in a sport may have the opportunity to compete at the Upper School level, with authorization from the Athletic Director.
