There are so many wonderful opportunities for our alumnae to share their career experiences with our students, parents, and faculty. Please contact Joanna Schumacher Arat ’99, Alumnae Relations Officer, at (302) 658-7158 x6257 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to participate in the following opportunities.
· Alumnae Luncheon Speaker Series: This one hour, casual roundtable discussion invites an alum to return to Ursuline and speak to the upper class students about their career and how Ursuline helped them prepare for it academically, mentally, or physically. These discussions take place monthly, and are always held from 11:15 a.m.-12 p.m. (lunch period).
· Career Discovery Program: For this program, our guidance counselors help match current students with an alum who might be interested or willing to have a student shadow them for a designated period of time (to be determined by the alumna). This program is focused on career and academic enrichment experiences, not to be confused with a full internship.
· Middle School Career Day: Would you love to teach our younger minds about your career in a fun, interactive way? Then please consider presenting at our Middle School Career Fair.
· Alumnae Art Gallery: In 2013, the goal of a dedicated space with which to share the art of our alumnae was realized, with the creation of The Alumnae Art Gallery. The Alumnae Art Gallery hosts three to five Alumnae Art Exhibits a year, with each ranging between six weeks to three months. We are looking for working professionals or those who practice art as a vocation and ask that they also guest speak at an art class while their display is showing.
