Ursuline Academy offers an Extended Day Program year round. (Including Holiday and Summer.) 
In keeping with Ursuline's tradition, Extended Day seeks to provide Ursuline students, grades 
Montessori 3 and Pre-K through 8th grade, with a warm, homelike setting, with opportunities for success in all areas of development--social, physical, emotional, and intellectual

Morning Care
This option provides a.m. care prior to the start of school.

After-School Activities
We offer a variety of on-going programs in our After-School Segment. New educational 
and recreational programs are introduced seasonally. (Some after-school activities are
an additional fee.)

This option is available to parents needing coverage on scheduled school closings, i.e.,
Christmas and Easter vacations and some scheduled holidays. 

 

Summer Fun Program

There are 5 (two-week) Summer Fun Sessions and they are available to both Ursuline and Non-Ursuline families on a first-come, first-served basis.  A variety of activities are offered throughout the summer, including arts & crafts, a Lacrosse Clinic, Tennis instruction and Golf at DuPont Country Club.

Weekly Events
Each week, the campers will participate in our Science program, Computer program, and Tasters program (cooking club).  The campers will go to the YMCA for swimming and take several trips to the Ursuline Farm on the Elk River where they swim and picnic.

Field Trips
Weekly events are supplemented with special educational and recreational field trips, such as trip to the White House, Port Discovery, Washington Zoo, Seining at Cape Henlopen just to name a few.

Educational Programs
Our Summer Fun Campers receive on-campus visits from organizations such as Brandywine Traveling Zoo, Wilmington Music, and the Christiana Care OUTREACH Program to raise skin cancer awareness.

Productions and Publications
Every two weeks the campers produce a musical and play and publish a camp newspaper.
