Bio

Since 2019, Donna Kinzel has served as Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the Academy’s budgeting, financial planning, and fiscal strategy operations. After retiring from a career in corporate finance, she joined Ursuline, seeking an opportunity to apply her finance skills in an educational setting. In addition to her official role, Donna serves as the advisor for the Upper School Investment Club and is the owner of Ursuline’s school dog, Winnie.

Previously, Donna served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer at Pepco Holdings, based in Washington, D.C. In this role, she oversaw the financial planning and analysis, operational finance, accounting, treasury, and risk management functions for the company. Currently, she serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Delaware Lerner College of Business & Economics and serves as a mentor in the Graduate Executive Mentors Program. She also serves on the Board of Advisors of Faithful Friends Animal Society, on the Board of The Forum of Executive Women Delaware, and on the Board and Finance Committee of Darlington Arts Center.
