Ursuline Academy is a Catholic school rooted in the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a faith-filled community that embraces and lives the Gospel on and off campus. Both Catholics and non-Catholics attend and teach at Ursuline, and each individual is able to take advantage of an environment that allows religious education to be a valued part of daily life.
Worship
Worshipping together is essential to the nature of our school community. Under the direction of our faculty, students are invited to help plan and prepare our religious services. All students and faculty participate in the celebration of the liturgy, prayer services, and other religious events. Special attention is given to ensure all students, regardless of their age, have an opportunity to celebrate their faith in a particularly meaningful way.
Our entire Ursuline community gathers to celebrate special occasions, including:
Opening School Liturgy
The Feast of St. Angela
Ash Wednesday
Holy Days of Obligation
Our Early Childhood and Lower School prepares and celebrates:
The Feast of St. Francis
Advent Prayer Service
Lenten Prayer Service
New Life Liturgy
First Eucharist Liturgy
Our Middle and Upper School gather to celebrate and reflect during:
The Feast of St. Ursula and Ring Day Liturgy
Thanksgiving Liturgy
Advent Wreath Lighting Prayer Services
Marian Liturgy
Mother/Daughter Liturgy

As members of the Ursuline Community, parents are always welcome to participate in all of our liturgies and prayer services.
