Kim Raiford

Kimberly “Kim” Raiford spent her professional career in the chemicals industry. Joining DuPont as a chemist in 1988, she held various positions in research, product development, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing support. Her last role at DuPont was Technical Manager in Central Research and Development. Before retiring in 2019, she was Director of Product Management and Commercialization at Origin Materials, a renewable chemicals start-up company based in Sacramento, CA.

Dr. Raiford received a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from The University of Vermont and an MS and Ph.D. in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Kim lives in Hockessin, DE, with her husband, Bill. Their daughter, Nicole, attended Ursuline Academy from 4-12th grade and graduated in 2016. Their two older sons are graduates of Salesianum. Kim currently serves on Ursuline Academy’s Finance Committee and volunteers with The Christopher Brandle Joy of Life Foundation, a charitable organization founded in memory of her nephew that provides funding for pediatric brain cancer research and financial assistance to families.
